hope it will be sung worldwide, & not just to welcome the new year, but hopefully
to welcome every peaceful day & occasion. So feel free to sing & back
it , use the karaoke version if desired, & post it. I am now 70 years old
so it would be wonderful to depart this
world, leaving a song , of great expectation of peace & love to one &
all, no need to mention me on you post. Remember it is not a song of protest,
there are thousands of them, seemingly just ignored It is as I say a song of

"Auld Lang Syne" new Arrangement by Thomascow. Scots poem written by Robert Burns in 1788
and set to the tune of a traditional folk song (Roud # 6294). The phrase "Auld
Lang Syne" is also used in similar poems by Robert Ayton (1570–1638),
Allan Ramsay (1686–1757), and James Watson (1711) as well as older folk songs
predating Burns.
